Where things stand
- On the ballot. The Denver Clerk's tracking page has listed Browne as "Found Sufficient (On Ballot)" since August 21, in the first batch ruled sufficient. Filed 626 signatures on August 19, a day before the deadline, against a 300 valid requirement.
- Fair Elections Fund. Certified by the Denver Clerk. Application submitted August 28, seven days before the September 4 deadline; the certification is recorded in SearchLight.
- The race. Denver City Council at-large vacancy, created when Councilmember Sarah Parady stepped down on August 5. Special election November 3, 2026. The winner serves the remainder of the term.
