What the note asked for

Stop bars the city's 2023 work order lists as installed but the street does not have, and a trim for the hidden stop signs, from a note by Eliot.

What we did

Went and stood there, then filed it with Denver 311 by location and asked for a written answer. Both the case and the answer are on this page. You can quote the numbers to 311 yourself.

What the city said

Fixed. Stop bars are on the pavement and a second stop sign now faces drivers on the approach Eliot said was invisible. The city's own asset records had carried three of those stop lines as installed since July 25, 2023, so the paperwork said the job was done for 1,134 days while the street did not have it. We do not know whether our case is why it changed. Eliot filed six of his own before ours.
